Difloxal

 

Composition:

Each 1 ml contains:

Difloxacin hydrochloride  ……………………………………….………..  109.13 mg

(Eq. to 100 mg Difloxacin base)

Properties:

A broad spectrum antibiotic and bactericidal of the second generation of fluoroquinolones used in chickens and turkeys
It works effectively and efficiently on many microbes such as Mycoplasma and Gram positive microbes such as Staph auris and Gram-negative , such as E. coli, Pasterella multicoda and salmonelle
It is characterized by a rapid absorption rate of 97 and reaches the highest concentration in the blood steadily within a few hours. characterized by good spreading to all infected tissues and its concentration remains equal or greater than the MIC of microbes Targeted Which provides complete protection from the start of treatment.

 

Indications:

Chronic and Complicated Respiratory Diseases (CRD) & CCRD caused by mycoplasma and E. coli.
Fowl cholera disease caused by infection with pasterella
Other diseases caused by microbes sensitive to difloxacin

 

Dosage & Administration:

0.5 ml/litre of drinking water for 3-5 days
(10mg /kg bwt)

Difloxacin acts through inhibition of bacterial dna 🧬 gyrase

 

Packaging:

Plastic bottles: 100, 250, 500ml and 1 liter.

 

Withdrawal period:

Only 24 hours
